Last month brought news of another career brought to it’s end by the foolish promotion of Nithyananda’s fictional country Kailasa.
The Telegraph reported last month that a Paraguayan official was “forced to step down as chief of staff of the Paraguayan agriculture ministry, having been duped into penning the ‘memorandum of understanding. with representatives from the non-existent United States of Kailasa”.
Multiple other news-sources also reported on this story.1
Arnaldo Chamorro is yet another official who has fallen foul of a practice known a “Safepointing”.
Having fled India in 2019, following charges filed in Indian courts, Nithyananda and his followers have sought to “Safepoint” by corrupting dignitaries and politicians as a means to claim legitimacy for a mysterious location in the hopes this will obscure the real reason for Nithyananda’s self-imposed exile — he refuses to face charges of rape and abduction.
This past year has seen Nithyananda’s cult drag multiple officials in many countries into this scandal.
In 2022 The Telegraph2 and The Guardian3 reported that “Kailasa UK” featured in a full-page advert for the (HFB) Hindu Forum of Britain’s 2022 Diwali brochure.

The brochure featured letters from (now Prime Minister) Rishi Sunak, (now former Home Secretary) Suella Braverman, MP Bob Blackman, (now former Home Secretary) Priti Patel and Lord Rami Ranger.
A Diwali event was held in the House of Commons on 21 October 2022, with MP Bob Blackman and Lord Rami Ranger present.
The HFB’s president Trupti Patel was pictured alongside Nithya Atmadayananda, a prominent supporter of Nithyananda, as was MP Bob Blackman.

It was later revealed that Lord Rami Ranger has “undermined and humiliated” the journalist who had broken the story of the Nithyananda Cult’s attempt to “Safepoint” using the Houses of Parliament4.

In January 2023 the City of Newark was approached to “Safepoint” the Nithyananda Cult with a Sister-City agreement signed between the city and Kailasa.
This was later rescinded by the city in March.5
Another unfortunate episode happened in 2023 when Vijayapriya Nithyananda, the “permanent ambassador of the United States of Kailasa”, addressed a United Nations committee in Geneva.
This led to the United Nations issuing a statement that it would ignore the comments made.6
